Why We Built This Site
Missouri gives the public broad access to many court records, while state law still protects juvenile files, sealed cases, confidential identifiers, and closed criminal records. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The Mississippi County Circuit Clerk handles Circuit Court, associate circuit, probate, family, criminal, civil, traffic, and many municipal division records. The Recorder of Deeds handles marriage licenses and certified marriage copies. The Sheriff handles local law-enforcement and custody questions. Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
